How Think System collects, uses, and retains personal data when you use this site or request an engagement.

Data we collect

  • Identity and contact details you submit via forms (name, email, message content, optional engagement interest and fiscal year)
  • Technical data such as browser type and approximate region from server logs
  • Cookie-related data as described in our cookies page

We do not ask for resident registration numbers, payroll files, or full ledgers through the public contact form.

Purposes

We use personal data to respond to scoping requests, prepare engagement letters, improve site reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Processing is based on steps prior to entering a contract when you request services, our legitimate interest in operating a professional practice website, and consent where you accept optional analytics cookies.

Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months unless an engagement begins, in which case retention follows the engagement file schedule (typically seven years for working papers and related correspondence). Server logs are rotated within 90 days.

Your rights

Subject to Korean law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may withdraw cookie consent for non-essential cookies. Email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject line. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) in South Korea.

International transfers

Our primary operations and hosting for this static site are arranged to serve visitors in South Korea. If a processor stores data outside Korea, we require contractual safeguards appropriate to the transfer.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including limiting access to engagement correspondence and using secure channels for sensitive working papers after scoping.
