Refunds and cancellations
Refund eligibility for Think System professional engagements — deposits, work started, rescheduling, and no-shows.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to professional engagements with Think System for financial audit of budget control applications, readiness reviews, mid-year assessments, and remediation verification. It does not cover products, software licences, or physical goods — we do not sell those.
Cooling-off and deposits
After you accept a written engagement letter and pay a mobilisation deposit, the deposit is credited toward final fees. If you cancel in writing before fieldwork begins and before we have incurred travel or third-party costs, we refund the deposit in full within fourteen business days.
Cancellation after fieldwork starts
Once scoping interviews or sample testing has begun, fees for time already worked are non-refundable. Unused prepaid amounts, if any, may be refunded on a pro-rata basis after deducting completed work and documented disbursements.
Partial refunds
Partial refunds may apply when we mutually reduce scope mid-engagement (for example, removing an entity from the sample). The revised fee is confirmed in writing before the reduction takes effect.
Non-refundable items
- Completed fieldwork days and issued draft or final reports
- Travel booked with your prior approval once tickets are purchased
- Translation or courier costs already incurred at your request
Rescheduling
You may request one reschedule of the fieldwork start date without penalty if notice is given at least ten business days before the original start. Later reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee reflecting irreversible travel or staff allocation.
No-shows and access failures
If agreed site access or sample populations are not available on scheduled fieldwork days, those days remain chargeable. We will propose a revised plan; repeated access failure may lead to termination with fees due for work performed.
Work already started
Findings, working papers, and draft reports produced before cancellation remain our intellectual property until fees for that work are paid. Upon payment, you receive the work product completed to the cancellation date.
Refund process and timing
Email [email protected] with the engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen business days after approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
Method
Refunds are issued in Korean won to the originating account or card unless otherwise agreed in the engagement letter.
